The
Willock and Sax Gallery carries a diverse selection of Western Canadian
historical and contemporary art, with a focus on many fine Alberta
artists. We represent recognized contemporary artists Douglas Haynes, Robert Sinclair, Maureen
Enns, Peter von Tiesenhausen, Barbara Paterson, Darren Petersen, John
Chalke, Barbara Tipton, Les Manning, Tom Willock, Brenda Malkinson, D.
Helen Mackie, Charles Lewton-Brain, Dee Fontans, and Yael Krakowski amongst
many others, who work in a wide variety of media, including
original paintings, photography, prints and drawings, functional and
fine art ceramics, sculpted/stained/hand-blown art glass, sculpture,
jewellery and woodturning. We represent the estates of H. G. Glyde, Irene
McCaugherty, John Snow, Margaret Shelton, and George Weber. We offer an interesting selection of First Nations art by Joane
Cardinal-Schubert, George Littlechild, and Aaron Paquette as well as
Inuit sculpture and drawings from Cape Dorset artists such as Kenojuak
Ashevak, Omalluq Oshutsiaq, Kananginak Pootoogook, Pudloo Pudlat, Shuvinai Ashoona, and Sheojuk Etidlooie.
