J.R. (Jim) Webb

Throughout a thirty-six year career in Banff with Parks Canada and Public Works, Jim Webb spent weekends and holidays hiking and skiing the mountains – always with a sketch book and camera in his pack. He was a friend and disciple of Walter J. Phillips, and studied watercolour and print-making at the Banff School of Fine Arts. Now retired he continues to paint, and shares his skills by helping long-term care patients explore the world of watercolour.
